*Old School Engagements

This is some of my earlier work. All of the shots included in this post were shot in old school style! What is that? It's film! That was back when if I wanted black and white, I either had to shoot with a roll of black and white film, or develop the roll in the dark room myself! My favorite rolls of film to use were Ilford B&W 100 speed, and Fujifilm Fujicolor NPS 160 speed.

These are scans of the actual photos.  They are not digitally edited, except for the watermark. Hope you like!

For those of you who may be wondering how I did the black and white images with a hint of color without digitally editing them:
After I had my roll of black and white film printed, I used the special photo editing markers to color in the colored areas. That's how I did it back then :)
I also used to get the sepia tone by asking those who printed my work to adjust the coloring on their developer for it.

It really is amazing all the changes that have happened with photography in the last ten years.
